Brian MayerOperations
Brian is the other co-founder of midVentures and its Chief Operating Officer. midVentures depends on Brian for managing over 10 midVentures startups at one time, in addition to the growing midVentures team. Before midVentures, Brian was a web developer, focusing on social entrepreneurship, crowd sourcing, educational and productivity projects. Recently, Brian spent four months in southern Africa, where he studied pre-colonial anthropology and South African history. He has an interest in corporate law, politics, history and jazz piano.
Geoff DomorackiIdeas
Geoff is a co-founder of midVentures and its Chief Executive Officer. After graduating from the University of Chicago with a degree in philosophy, Geoff spent 4 months in India working with a technology firm and developing online property management software. Geoff’s main passion is combining technology and philosophy to build ventures that create structural change in society. With midVentures, he has been able to deliver his ideas to the CEOs of top organizations, venture capitalists, and tech veterans. Geoff enjoys long distance cycling and reading philosophy.

Alex WilhelmSocial Media
Alex is a technology blogger and entrepreneur living in Chicago, and midVentures’ chief of business development. He has worked at several technology startups, including Clicky Web Analytics, Contenture, and now at midVentures. Alex specializes in the Web 2.0 sector, leveraging a deep understanding of tech companies and trends about the evolving internet. In his spare time, he is an avid poker player and a serial twitterer.
Chad NorwoodArchitecture
Chad is the lead architect on the midVentures team. He brings over 14 years of software design and engineering experience to the table, having worked at IBM, Intel, Yahoo, and many startup companies in silicon valley. He’s an expert at building custom scalable solutions using open source technologies but also has experience leading teams, managing projects, and interacting with customers. Having recently moved to Chicago from San Francisco, he enjoys focusing on new entrepreneur ventures, coming up with creative solutions from initial idea stage throughout the life of the business.

Peter Wilkins
Peter Wilkins is the CEO and founder of Omaxen Group, providing investment and strategic services for Chicago startups. Prior to Omaxen, Peter worked with KRR Capstone as president of PRIMEDIA Healthcare.
Kyle Reed
A securities lawyer by training, Kyle founded MessageOne, an enterprise software solution later sold to Dell Computers. Kyle currently runs RemixGalaxy.com
Joe Dwyer
After receiving his JD and MBA from Northwestern University, Joe Dwyer serves as a Senior Associate at OCA Ventures and CEO of Brill Street.
Robert Schultz
A senior director at IllinoisVentures, he served as founder and CEO of DigitalWork. He has an MBA from the Chicago Booth School, and a Bachelors degree from Northwestern University.
